I have created Bonecrushingsound over at Blogger. I will most likely be posting there more of the time. I would migrate this site to a Blogger blog except I would lose a lot of the content. So I'll leave this as it is and just update things over there.

As you can see I have updated Drupal again. Gonna stick with the default theme for a bit. Maybe update some style sheets when I have time.
Mind Vision Antics - I was bored while waiting for the AB queue the other day so I started using Mind Vision on various NPCs. It's amusing to see how far you can get jumping from one to another. You can even use rabbits and squirrels to get around. I managed to get all the way to Searing Gorge when I grabbed someone who jumped on a griffon. There must be a distance limit at some point. Here are some interesting facts about Mind Vision. I will update this as I discover new facts about the mystery behind Mind Vision.
Mac OS X 10.5.2 brings big FPS gains -
Ever since a few WoW patches ago, many of us Mac users have been, honestly, suffering with much lower framerates than we should be seeing, given the hardware we're on. Fortunately, it looks like the just-released 10.5.2 system update will give a lot of help in that department, along with many other system fixes. Tipster Jason went from 27.5 FPS to between 45 and 60 FPS on his iMac after installing 10.5.2 and the Leopard Graphics Update (which also just came out today and requires 10.5.2), and our own Adam Holisky went from 30 to 50 FPS on his own first-gen Intel iMac. I didn't have the presence of mind to test my WoW before updating, but it's certainly running silky smooth now on my MacBook Pro. Go now, good Leopard-using readers, and run your Software Updates (always a good idea to back up before major updates, though). Those of you who have updated, are you seeing performance benefits?
Nocturnes Requiem, an old guild from Aggramar, has been reformed as a PvP guild on the Ghostlands server. Anasthasia is again in charge. There are new people and old. I have added a link on the left as well as here.
I have just completed moving all of my characters to the Ghostlands server. The whole process took approximately 15 minutes. In hind-site I wish I did it in order so my characters would be in proper order on the new server. Hopefully Blizzard will allow some kind of ordering ability soon, who knows.
The reasons for the move were many. Friends, PVP change, economy even queue-times were all factors. I'd like to think that a new server also means new hardware and less downtime but that remains to be seen.
I have a nice collection of Wow screenshots over at Flickr. I like using a screensaver to grab them via RSS. It makes for a nice Wow based screensaver that I can update easily.

Breakfast Topic: How is the alt coming along? -
With the Patch 2.3 leveling increase changes, many players stuck at the level cap have either created new characters or dusted off forgotten alts.
Logging back in at lower levels is quite a rush at first. From the lightning-fast rocket ride of the first 10 levels to the new express train to Outland that is now available to all pre-60 characters. It's easy to ride the wave of enthusiasm inherent in playing a different toon.
My question to you is: has the thrill worn off yet? Does it feel like a grind (albeit a quicker one)? Is the different class you're playing live up to your expectations? Or are you so happy with your new class you may make them your main?
